Setting Up The Create Block Theme Plugin On WordPress<\/h2>\n

First, you will want to install and activate the WordPress block theme that you want to create your new theme or child theme for \u2013 in this case, I\u2019m using Twenty Twenty-Two.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, take the following steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

Go to Plugins<\/em> > Add New<\/em>. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the search window, find \u201cCreate Block Theme.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Creating A WordPress Child Theme<\/b><\/h2>\n

The Create Block Theme plugin is an extremely simple way to create a child theme for a block, including a Full Site Editing Theme. The plugin will automatically create the parts folder, templates folder, theme.json, and style.css.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the plugin is installed, you are ready to create the child theme:<\/span><\/p>\n
