Yes, consumer needs and behaviors can change dramatically depending on the current economic climate.<\/p>\n

But they don\u2019t cease, or disappear, altogether.<\/p>\n

Your customers may have greater concerns about the household budget and display a reduced commercial intent as a result. Perhaps they\u2019re just not in the market to buy.<\/p>\n

They will be again one day, though.<\/p>\n

Sales is a cycle; while some markets have demand dips, others see rises.<\/p>\n

For some, it could be time for them to learn, plan, and educate themselves on their options.<\/p>\n

SEO Is A Long Game & The Rules Are Constantly Changing<\/h2>\n

You cannot simply pause your SEO \u2013 well, you can, but it would mean an awful lot of catching up when you \u201cturned it on\u201d again.<\/p>\n

Google\u2019s algorithms are constantly changing and updating as the search engine strives to better meet the needs of its users.<\/p>\n

Rather than cutting back, tough economic times are when you can focus on and invest in improving user experience<\/a>, resolving persistent technical issues<\/a>, and speeding up your site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These objectives may have been lower on marketing\u2019s priority list when times were good and sales were plenty.<\/p>\n
